VoIP Intercom Modules

800B Intercom Module

The 800B intercom module has “on-board” general purpose input output (GPIO) hardware for remotely controlling equipment like automatic pay machines, barrier gates, ticket columns, and vehicle detection loops. Capability for direct Internet connection and standalone operation makes it possible to receive notifications and answer calls for assistance on any personal computer or smart device.

The 800B intercom module can be configured to operate in any one or combination of the following five modes:

1. Event – send a data packet to event management system (EMS)
2. VoIP – make an intercom call directly (or indirectly) to any SIP telephone device.
3. PSTN – make an intercom call to any analogue telephone device via a SIP gateway device.
4. IP Dial – make an intercom call to any SIP telephone device that supports IP dialling.
5. Announcement – use the speaker output to play back a stored message.

Features:
  • Connects to any VoIP exchange that supports SIP
  • Directly calls any event management system, mobile phone, or desktop handset
  • Configurable with a standard web browser
  • Auto configurable via FTP, TFTP, or HTTP
  • Easily discoverable on large networks
  • System event logging
  • Time and date synchronization using SNTP
  • Four optically coupled inputs (common ground)

  • Accepts normally open or closed input logic
  • Three independent relay outputs (change-over contacts)
  • Input and output scheduling
  • System Information page with real-time audio diagnostics and display of GPIO state
  • 30 messages stored “on-board”
  • Remote upload of messages
  • No Regional boundaries for IP solution
